European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
British American Tobacco (BAT) will hire an additional 150 persons at its British American Shared Services site in Bucharest by the beginning of 2010. British American Tobacco (BAT) selected Bucharest for a new centre for financial services with 100 employees in the first phase. In 2007, BAT reported a turnover of 824 million euros in Romania, in a plant of cigarettes, an increase of 40% compared with 2006.
