The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Russian airlines Aeroflot is to cut 500 employees in 2009. The company has taken this decision in order to tackle the recent economic crisis. The Aeroflot fleet flies to 94 destinations in 49 countries worldwide and operates 302 flights daily. It has 14,500 employees worldwide.
