European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Takao, a supplier of motor parts, is to cut 100 jobs at its Brockworth site in Gloucester. The cuts follow Honda's announced plans to reduce production in the UK. The company is considering voluntary redundancies as an option for some of the staff affected. As of 23 January 2009 there is no information on when the job losses will occur.
