Description
Sauer-Danfoss, producer of hydraulic equipment is to cut another 400 jobs, this time in Nordborg (325 production workers) and Kolding (75 white-collar workers). The employees are shocked by this new round of dismissals, not the least due to the high amount of job losses and the fact that it only recently announced the closure of its Odense plant with the loss of 210 jobs in December 2008. According to Sauer-Danfoss, the company's personnel department will initiate a series of support measures for the employees affected. Sauer-Danfoss is an American listed company which is 55% owned by Danfoss, also based in Nordborg.
