Description
Helphire Group, a car hire firm, has announced that it is to make 130 of its staff redundant. The company employs 3,000 people in 31 depots across the UK. The company has stated that it will make the cuts in the next three months, although it has not confirmed at which sites these jobs will be lost, or given a reason for the cuts.
Update: On 1 April 2009 the company announced that it will cut another 180 jobs bringing the total of job losses to 310. The cuts will affect company sites in Bristol and Bath.
