The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Aer Lingus, an airline, has announced that it is to create 160 new jobs at Gatwick Airport. The jobs are being created as the airline is introducing new routes. It is not currently known how many people Aer Lingus employs at Gatwick and, as of 15 February 2009, no announcement has been made as to when the jobs will start, although the company has stated that it has already started the interview process.
