Information of 11th April 2009 says that orders have decreased more than expected and that further reduction of employment will be necessary. Thus, instead of originally planned 676 dimissals, 900 jobs will be lost by the end of 2009, meaning that the number of employees will be reduced to 2,639 by the end of ther year.
Previously the comany annnounced that it would continue its restructuring plans with a loss of 676 jobs. The company had to reduce its production by 20% in 2009 due to decreased orders from customers. Because of that the company was speeding up its internal restructuring programme meaning that by the end of 2009, the number of employees would have decreased by 676 instead of the originally planned 300. Thus, the number of employees would have reduced from existing 3,539 to 2,863 at the end of 2009.
