The aluminium component manufacturer Nordic Aluminium is to cut 102 jobs in its Kirkkonummi and Nivala units. When starting personnel negotiations in April 2009 the company was planning to cut 104 jobs. These negotiations concerned the whole personnel (300 employees). These negotiations affected all factory workers in Kirkkonummi Factory and Nivala Factory. Nordic Aluminium designs, produces, markets and supplies demanding aluminium products and components for the electrotechnical, telecommunications, transportation, ship building, machine design and commercial construction industries.
