The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 31 July 2009, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority granted permission for the establishment of FM Bank, a lender to be created on the basis of the Micro Fund - an initiative of the Polish-American Enterprise Fund geared at development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Poland and in Central Europe. FM Bank expects to operate a network of 62 branches around the country by the end of the year with a workforce of 400 (with 150 employees taken over from the Micro Fund plus 250 new hires).
