European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Holmen Paper is building a saw mill, which is planned to be the biggest in Scandinavia. The first step was taken on August 11, and the construction in Braviken is intended to be finished in slightly more than one year. This will result in 110 new jobs in autumn 2010. The new Saw mill in Braviken will produce building timber to the markets in Scandinavia and Great Britain. Other possible markets are Japan, USA and the rest of Europe. Holmen Group has 2200 employees.
