European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Danish producer of electricity, Dong Energy, which employs 6,000 in Denmark, announced plans to fire 275 employees at its sites in Denmark. The redundancies will mainly affect engineers and employees in technical support functions, says Dong Energy. The affected employees will be notified at the end of November after negotiations between management and the employees unions.
