Description
On 25 November 2009, Postbank, a financial services provider, announced the cut of around 2,000 jobs by the end of 2012. The company stated that it wanted to cut 500 to 700 jobs annually over the next three years. Postbank seeks to avoid direct dismissals. Job cuts are to be realised by natural wastage. Employees in the administrative units will be most affected. Postbank currently employs 21,000 staff.
