European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The high-tech consultancy company Cybercom will dismiss 80 out of 360 employees in southern Sweden. The dismissals will take effect from mid-March 2010. Employees in Malmö and Lund are affected. The company employs around 360 people in that region. The internal restructuring is due to notices of cancellation from customers and the changing market situation. In February 2009, Cybercom East had dismissed 50 workers.
The Cybercom Group employs around 1,900 people worldwide, most of them in Scandinavia. The group supplies IT consultancy services in security, portal solutions, mobile services, and embedded systems. Cybercom offers its services to companies in the telecom, industry, media, banking and financial services, retail and the public sector.
