European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Sainsbury's is to open a new supermarket in Bangor (County Down) creating 350 jobs. The supermarket will be located in Balloo Retail Park, near to the site of an existing Homebase store. A multi-million pound investment is enabling the store to open, along with the refurbishment of the Homebase outlet. Chris Templeman, head of property development at Sainsbury's, said "This development is great news for the local economy in terms of job creation and an additional Sainsbury's store means increased business for our local suppliers".
