European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Meva Drobeta Turnu Severin, manufacturer of freight carriages, notified the county agency for employment its intention to dismiss 388 employees starting from 15 May 2010. This decision is attributed to the decrease of market demand. At present the company has 900 employees.
