European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Administrations of the regions in Lithuania intend to dismiss 2,500 employees in different regions by the beginning of July, 2010. The number of direct dismissals will constitute around 1,400 while 1,100 of the dismissed employees will be employed in other public institutions. Currently administrations of the regions in Lithuania are undergoing restructuring and some of the functions are transferred to other Governmental institutions. In total there are 10 administrations of the regions in Lithuania.
