European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Telecom Shared Service Centre (SSC), a company which is part of the Telecom IT Operations, is to cut 646 jobs. The company has announced 2010-2012 industrial plan which envisages new investments, a reorganisation of the IT division, and 646 job-cuts. The Telecom IT Operations has around 2,200 employees. The trade unions reacted to the company's decision announcing a one-day strike for the 9 of July.
