European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 11 August 2010, the Minister of administration and internal affairs announced 50,000 job cuts as a result of the restructuring of local public administration. The job losses are the outcome of the enforcement of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 63/2010, published in the Official Journal no. 450 on 2 July 2010.
