European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Red Cross aid agency in Sweden has announced on September 21 2010 that 150 of 450 employees will be dismissed and a major number of the local offices throughout Sweden will be closed. The restructuring plan is designed to increase efficiency. The Red Cross effectuated the restructuring in December 2010.
