Description
On the September 30th 2010 Lakics Gépgyártó Kft. announced its 2 Billion HUF (7.267.000 Euro) investment in a factory in Kaposvár, Hungary, which will produce motor equipment. The company plans on hiring 100 employees in the first wave.
The 15000 square meter factory will produce wind, hydro and nuclear power generators and steel engines and parts. The investment was made in cooperation with the local government since the company is increasing local employment and will build a mechanic training school in the town.
Founded in 1985 by László Lakics, Lakics Engineering Ltd. is a family enterprise, which is now currently managed by his two sons. The company's annual turnover is around 5 Billions HUF (18.168.000 Euro).
