European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 14 October 2010 Vegrad Group, one of the largest Slovenian construction companies, announced bankruptcy and all 574 employees lost their jobs. Due to economic recession and standstill on the housing market, Vegrad d.d. - holding company of the group, located in Velenje in the Savinjska region - has no longer been able to serve its liabilities.
