European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
A British tea producer Twinings announced relocation plan and will move its plant from England to Swarzęd near Poznań where 240 people will find employment. However, the reallocation of Twinings plant will result in around 260 job losses in North England until September 2011. Twinings might receive 12 mln EUR subsidies from Polish government. The company supposes that the plant will start a full production by the end of 2011. Twinings is a part of Associated British Foods (a global food, ingredients and retail company). AB Foods has also operated in Poland (in Nowa Sól) since 2007.
