Description
Crist, a new owner of the former Gdynia Shipyard (Stocznia Gdynia), announced that will start operations on 15 November 2010 and will hire additional 200 employees in late 2010/early 2011.
Within the first half of 2009 over 5,000 shipbuilders lost the jobs by the collective dismissal programme in the Gdynia Shipyard ( see factsheet 13851). Part of the former personnel may return to work. The company will employ even 1,000 people, provided that the expected dynamic development takes place in 2011.
