In November 2010, the management of the airline company Air France announced plans to recruit 100 pilots, following a two year recruitment freeze for pilots. The company will begin recruiting in 2011 for new locations in several big cities, mostly in the South of France (Marseille, Nice, Toulouse, Bordeaux). In addition, Air France will need an additional 1,000 employees in these locations and the company expects to fill these positions from its existing staff elsewhere on a purely voluntary basis.
