Description
On January 19th 2011, the Commercial Court of Montlucon endorsed DMI's dismissal of 114 workers at its newly acquired smelter in Vaux. The former owner of the smelter, Brealu, had been in receivership since August 2010 and management agreed that it would cease trading in early December following the commercial court's ruling on their bankruptcy. DMI, which is an American corporation, plans to continue normal operations at Brealu.
