European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
French fashion house Louis Vuitton announced that it will open a plant in Ponte de Lima where 350 new jobs will be created. The total investment is worth about 6.7 million euro.
The new plant is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2011. According to the mayor of Ponte de Lima, the choice of the location had to do with the fiscal benefits offered by the municipality.
