European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Virgin Atlantic announced plans to create 450 new jobs. The airline is creating a new route between Manchester and Las Vegas, and increasing London departures to the Caribbean and Ghana. 350 of the new jobs will be based at Gatwick and 100 at Manchester. As of 11 March 2011, no date has been given for the creation of the new posts.
