European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The shipyard La Naval, located in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country (Sestao), has announced the intention to apply for a redundancy procedure affecting 150 employees (41% of the workforce). According to the union CCOO, this announcement was unexpected considering the recent increase in business activities. The company has recently received new orders, which will guaranty the continuation of production activities until March 2013.
