European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Spanish glazed ceramic tiles firm La Azulejera Tau has presented a labour force adjustment plan affecting 57 employees. Negotiations with the unions are ongoing.
This is the fifth labour force adjustment plan since the start of the economic crisis. In total, the firm has so far reduced its workforce from 900 employees to only 370. La Azulejera Tau's turnover has fallen from EUR 12 mn (USD 179.73mn) in 2008 to EUR 79mn in 2010.
