Description
The Campania Region and the local social partners have reached an agreement in order to support the public transport sector. The latest economic measures approved by the Italian government envisage heavy financial cuts for public transport. In Campania these cuts should cause around 2,000 job-cuts in the sector (out of around 14,000 employees). For this reason, the Campania Region and the social partners reached an agreement that envisages economic incentives for voluntary dismissals and a regional fund with the aim of supporting public transport at local level.
