European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
With the acquisition of Groundforce, Grupo Urbanos will save around 2,000 of Groundforce's 2,650 jobs. Portuguese firm Grupo Urbanos, specialized in the provision of logistics and outsourced services, has received the green light from Portugal's competition authority Autoridade da Concorrencia (AdC) to buy Groundforce. There is no information on the total employed by Grupo Urbanos or the timeline for the implementation of redundancies.
