European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Spanish retail group El Corte Ingles has announced the opening of its new Hipercor store in Turrunelos (Cordoba) in the first half of 2012. Some 800 new jobs will be created. The recruitment has already started with 60 people selected so far. Construction work started in mid-2008 and is now complete.
The firm also plans to open two other Hipercor stores, respectively in Faro del Guadiana (Badajoz) and Puerto Venecia Shopping Centre in Zaragoza.
