European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Automotive electronics manufacturer Preh, a Joyson subsidiary headquartered in Bad Neustadt, Germany, has announced planned job creation of 300 jobs in 2012. The company is planning to create 100 jobs in Bad Neustadt, and 200 jobs at the Preh sites in the US, in Mexico, Portugal and Romania - and in China where Preh started production in 2011, and plans to extend production in 2012.
Preh, which mainly produces automotive climate control systems and car-driver operating systems, increased its workforce from 2,420 to 2,817 in 2011.
