European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ixonos, a subsidiary of the Finish IT Company, will dismiss 122 out of 180 employees in Kosice, Slovakia.
Job cuts are attributed to the restructring of Nokia, for which the subsidiary develops mobile phone software. The timeline for the cuts is to be announced.
Other IT companies operating in Kosice, e.g. German T-Systems, already expressed their interest in the redundant software specialists.
