The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 20 July 2012, regional vocational education centre Zadkine announced it will cut 400 jobs (i.e. 275 full time equivalents) in the coming two years, mainly through non-renewal of temporary staff.
In 2011, the company had already dismissed 200 staff members. Background is budget cuts by the government and a drop in the number of students.
Update, 19 October 2012: Zadkine announced another 150 job cuts on top of the 400 previously announced.
