Description
MOVO Plzeň, Czech company focusing on repair and modernisation of railway wagons, is to cut between 197 and 297 jobs out of a total 347. This a result of the restructuring process starting in November 2012 and due to finish by the first half of 2013.
Reduction occurs because the parent group Škoda Transportation decided to relocate two long-term contracts to a modern subsidiary Pars nova located in Šumperk. Most redundant workers will be given the opportunity to get job in the parent group or in other subsidiaries.
