European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Swedish Armed Forces have announced to cut 230 jobs this autumn due to an internal re-organisation. Jobs in both the military and civilian sectors of the Armed Forces and all parts of the country will be affected, but mostly the areas around Stockholm and Västra Götaland. The job reduction will start the 31st of October and is expected to be implemented by the first of January 2013.
According to general major Gunnar Karlsson, who spoke on the Swedish Radio, it is not known yet which employees will be made redundant.
