European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Bauhaus, construction material and hardware retailer, is to hire 800 new employees to increase staffing levels and to staff new stores. Additional employees will be hired at all current stores and a new store is opening up in Linköping. Staff will be recruited for positions at all levels of responsibility.
Bauhaus is part of Bauhaus International, a European hardware retailer for workshop, house and garden materials with over 190 branches in 13 countries. Earlier employment adjustments by Bauhaus in Sweden are covered in fact sheet 10530.
The business expansion will be completed during 2013.
