European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Low cost airline Easy Jet has announced that it is to create 330 new jobs across its UK bases.
Trade union BALPA has critisised the contracts being offered saying that they were "take it or leave it" precarious work and should be replaced with more permanent contracts.
A timeline for the restructuring has yet to be announced.
