Description
Smith Medical, a global provider of medical devices, is to create about 250 new jobs by the end of 2013 in a new manufacturing and assembling centre for Europe in the city of Hranice.
The handover of the new site, worth EUR 12 million, is planned for June 2013.
Smith Medical provides medical devices for the hospital, emergency, home and specialist environments. The firm employs some 7,500 people worldwide.
Update 18-9-2013: the beginning of the measure has been postponed and the number of jobs being created is lower - 180 new jobs will be created by the end of March 2014.
