European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Swedish furniture retailer IKEA is to open a new store in Algarve, Portugal creating 300 new jobs. The recruitment will start in the second semester of 2013 and the new store will operate during the second semester of 2014. Despite the crisis, the Swedish group announced that four new stores will open in Portugal until 2020, creating around 10,000 direct and indirect jobs.
