European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 18 July 2013, Aéroports de Paris (ADP) announced a voluntary departure plan to cut 370 positions by 2015 and the creation of 180 new jobs. ADP is the operator of two French airports of Roissy-Charles de Gaulle and Orly.
In a statement ADP explains that the implementation of the redundancy scheme is planned to commence in Spring 2014. In the same period, the group plans to recruit 120 employees to improve its traveler welcome services and another 60 employees for its maintenance operations.
The redundancies are in the framework of a cost saving plan. The former CEO of ADP planned to decrease the workforce about 10% on the period 2011-2015 but the government refused the plan.
The plan is going to be presented and discussed with the trade unions.
