In particular, the agreement envisages new procedures to hire 340 workers with apprenticeship contracts (with the definition of new apprentice jobs), 300 workers with fixed-term contracts (with some derogations to the habitual rules on temporary contracts).
Moreover, the agreement provides for the employment of 199 workers with internship contracts. The trade unions and national and local authorities pointed out the relevance of this agreement in order to deal with an important event like EXPO 2015.
