European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Car manufacturer Opel will strengthen research and development activities in Germany, while cutting blue collar jobs in manufacturing. In 2013, 300 new posts for engineers shall be created at the International Development Centre in Ruesselsheim, Hesse. The engineers shall work on new models for the European car market.
