European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Dutch media company Telegraaf Media Groep (TMG) is to cut 350 jobs in the next six months. The recently announced job reduction measure is linked with a cost saving plan of around 50 million euros and is on top of a previously announced restructuring plan in 2011.
According to the sources the constant decline in the advertisement revenue is the main reason for the job cuts.
