Description
Danone Belgium, part of the French food-products group Danone, is to cut 75 jobs at its plant in Rotselaar.
As announced the restructuring is a consequence of the economic crisis and a 35% downturn of the company’s activities since 2009.
The Renault procedure has been launched. As reported, some demonstrations could occur in the next days since the unions consider that the job reduction measure would impose unsustainable heavy workload for the remaining staff.
Danone Belgium currently employs 860 people.
