European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 4 February Van der Ven Fashion was declared bankrupt, resulting in the dismissal of all 170 employees. The chain ran 28 shops in the southern and western parts of the Netherlands. It is not yet clear if some of the chain's activities can be revived. If it is possible, this could result in a lower number of dismissals.
