Description
Railway operator Przewozy Regionalne (Małopolska Voivodeship) is to cut up to 250 jobs by the end of April 2014. The restructuring programme is associated with the financial difficulties of the company.
The job cuts will be implemented in three stages (by the end of February, end of March and end of April) and they will affect all groups of employees in the company. The planned cuts will be implemented via voluntary departures.
The company signed an agreement on the restructuring with the local trade unions.
The ERM reported on various previous restructurings at the company in 2013 and 2012 (2012a, 2012b, 2012c).
