European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 27 January 2014, the Ministry of National Defense announced that 2,500 jobs will be created at Lubuska Dywizja Kawalerii Pancernej in Żagań. It is expected that the unit will start recruiting in next few weeks. The job creation has to do with the purchase of 119 tanks and ancillary equipment from the German army. All Leopard tanks and equipment will be transferred to the unit in Żagań within two years.
