European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
German machine constructor Möllers is to cut 50 out of 267 jobs. For the dismissed employees a transfer agency is going to be set up which will guarantee payments for one year. This is the result of long negotiations between management and works council. The reduction is going to be implemented by August 2014.
According to the company the job reduction is due to the weak development of the company.
